Bonista Beach Resort b2ng August 4, 2008 Resorts and Beaches 3 Comments The Bonista Beach Resort is one of the uprising tourist destinations in the northern part of Negros Occidental. It is located in Brgy. Buenavista, Escalante City and approximately 95 kilometers away from Bacolod City, the province capital. The resort has been in business since January 2000 which has a common goal to provide an international standard of resort in Negros at local prices that has a modern facilities that were located in a sun-drenched tropical setting. Bonista is one of the first international standard resorts established in a rural unspoiled area of Negros Occidental Philippines. The area is sparsely populated so the water is clean, air is fresh and the traffic noise is almost non- existing. Bonista is constantly growing and evolving since only phase 1 of 3 has been completed. What can be found in the place Rooms on a cliff over looking the ocean. How to get there From Manila to Bacolod Negros Occidental; * Via plane, approximately 1 hour. * Via super ferry to Bacolod, approximately 18 hours over-night cruise. From Cebu to Bacolod * Via plane, about 30 minutes From Bacolod to Bonista Beach Resort; * From Bacolod to Bonista Beach Resort via taxi, jeepney, bus or private car. Approximately 2 hrs. Taxi cost apprx 1500 pesos, Jeepney cost about 1000 pesos and bus cost about 65 pesos. From Cebu to Bonista Beach Resort; * Via bus or car. About 1.5 hours by land and 2 hours by ferry. Arrives Danao port in Escalante City. Pickup from port to Bonista is about 10 minutes. Drive to Bonista from the port is about 45 minutes. Keep it up! victoria September 23rd, 2008 i love escalante mostly the bonista beach.. i like the room cuz its over looking to the beach.. we been there a coople times with my husband to visit my mom.. she live close there at sta.ana graje……i miss there.. well ofcourse i grow up there.. anyway thanks for good serving kept up the good job!!!! jois..
