Negrosanon to Hold Art Exhibit at Moravia Bar

The exhibit entitled “Ukit” is a tagalog term means “to curve” represents the process of forming symbolic figures from wood. It is the first solo exhibition of Jeffrey that will showcase all his works that represents his creativity and passion for wood curving. The Art Association of Bacolod-Negros will be the main counterpart of this exhibition which he is a known figure and member of the group.
According to the renowned sculpture, he loved to create works related to human interactions, he created crafts that shows different level of emotions such as a lustful passion of a couple to a subtle caress of a mother for her child, elaborately carved from wood without destroying its essence. He also said “. Wood has been one of the first materials used by our ancestors to express their beliefs and emotions. I put my heart into my works and I hope the people would appreciate it’, he ended.
