The town of Ayungon is a municipality under the banner of Negros Oriental in the Philippines. It is considered as a 4th class municipality of the province. The municipality owns a total number of 40,744 of people in 7,789 households according to the statistics which recorded in the 2000 Census.  Tourist spots was one of the main attraction of the municipality and because of the fertility of the land, agricultural products is one of the main source of income by the people.
