Siaton was highly regarded as a 2nd class municipality in the province of Negros Oriental, Philippines.  It has a population of 64,258 in 12,767 households and considered as one of the populous municipalities in the region according to the 20000 census.

One of the tourists’ destinations that best to the local and foreign visitors for vacation is the Tamboo Beach located along Bonbonon Bay. it is a good site for windsurfing, scuba diving, and sailing; cottages amid the white pebbled beach, with a restaurant to serve beach enthusiasts.
